Behind the Lens

Based in Phoenix, Arizona

Hello! I'm a photographer dedicated to capturing the authentic moments where your true colors come out on stage, on the open road, or up in the air. It started out as just a hobby, but it has quickly become an obsession.

When I'm not the guy behind the lens, you can find me up on stage playing bass in the local Phoenix band, Starfire. Being a fellow musician let's me anticipate when your best moments are about to happen and also clues me in to what sort of shots you really want.

In a past life, I spent just shy of nine years serving in the US Navy as a WSO riding back seat of F/A-18F Super Hornets (some of the pics in the aviation portfolio are captured from here). What a ride that was. If you got half an hour to kill, check out our cruise video... it'll get ya going. Currently, I hold a Private Pilot Certificate.
